SNAP has an extensive library of over 2,000 specialist books, hundreds of quick and easy reference information sheets and over 250 specialist videos and DVDs that you will not find in any other library.

There are titles grouped under diagnosis including ADD/ADHD, Asperger syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy/physical difficulties, deaf/hearing impairment, Down syndrome, diabetes, dyslexia, dyspraxia, communication difficulties, speech & language difficulties, Tourette syndrome and visual impairment.
There are also sections on behaviour management, benefits, bereavement, counselling, health, diet and nutrition, sibling support and sign language as well as more general books on parenting and special parenting/caring.
We have files of information and many invaluable videos and DVDs that can often be more easily shared and discussed than a book.
You can visit The SNAP Centre to use the library during term time, but if you would like guidance about what is available, then it is best to contact the office first to make sure an adviser is on hand. There is also a postal service.
